Who we are

At Wild Hive Spice Co., we make small-batch seasonings and locally sourced honey for people who love real flavor and actually use their spices. Wild Hive began with my mom and a lifetime of cooking without measuring. From simple weeknight meals to big, slow-cooked Louisiana dishes, she always goes by taste. Gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice.. whatever she’s making, the kitchen smells amazing and the flavors hit hard.

I grew up watching her work, learning that the best meals aren’t about following a recipe—they’re about pouring your heart into it and tasting along the way. Even now, when I ask for her recipes, she just laughs and says, “I don’t know... I just pour. I don’t measure!” That’s how we cook. Loud, instinctive, and heavy-handed, with food always on the stove and plenty of tasting spoons nearby.
